Morristown, Minnesota A Yellow/Orange Colored Sphere

Posted: February 15, 2009

Date: February 5, 2009
Time: Between 7:15 p.m.

Location of Sighting: Morristown, Minnesota.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Dusty sphere, yellowy-orangish.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was on Facebook and went to go start my car to let it warm up. I needed to go to the store for smokes before Morris Mart closed. I looked towards the SW, and saw a huge ball of light that looked dusty in the very far distance, miles and miles from where I am for sure. I looked at it and figured a planet or something, or something maybe like a meteor, I just didn't know. I came in the house and wrote on Facebook for everyone to look outside to the SW and tell me what that was in the sky?! Of course everyone thought I was being silly, but they all went and looked. They saw nothing. I bundled up and went out to go to the store and it was gone. The next day, I heard about Satellites colliding in outer space. I thought to myself, "Well hell, that's what I saw!" But, that orbital collision happened over Siberia. So what exactly did I see? Makes me wonder.

Thank you to the witness for their sighting report.
