Hi Brian: Here's a little offering for your files. In the 1990s my I went to Woodbourne in upstate New York where my brother-in-law has a transplanted barn building on the bank of the Neversink River. I went primarily to treasure hunt the old, 1839 church and surrounding area. I also took time to photograph the church.
A few years ago while looking through the photos I finally noticed the black dot to the left of middle of the church's spire. Used various magnifying glasses and also inspected the negative. It definitely was on the negative's emulsion and not a speck of dust. Using a high-power glass it was evident that it was a UFO with a dome.
A month or so ago I decided to have a large poster-size photo made from the negative so that I could take close-up photos of the UFO with my digital camera. Unfortunately, and unknown to me, the photo company used an ink-jet process which was not a true photo. When I called to complain I was told that they could make a smaller poster with true photographic paper. But instead of requesting the negative I was told that the new photo would be made from a scan of the negative they kept on file. The scan did not produce the sharpness possible with the negative but it's a 100% improvement over the ink-jet scan which produced only black dots. Maybe in the future I'll have a print made from the negative.
I send you 3 photos in the body of this email and as attachments, which ever one is better for your reproduction: the overall scene (the white area on the upper left is a reflection from the bulb I used to light the large photo); a close-up of the church's spire with the UFO to the left; and a close-up of the domed UFO.
